Dali Weather in June

It's not necessary to take too much clothes when visiting Dali in June, some thin clothing, like a shirt, or a thin blouse made from cotton and linen materials, is enough and comfortable. If you are scared of the strong UV rays, UV-protection clothing is a good choice to protect your skin. Dongba trousers, a local clothing with ethnic decorations, would suit both men and women.  They are cheap and comfortable.Dali Ancient City is worth visiting not only for the beautiful scenery and profound cultural background, but also for the special experience of attending ethnic festivals held by Bai Ethnic Minority. In June of Dali, Medicine Buddha Birthday, South Gate Festival and Green Flag Festival are often celebrated in some temples in Dali Ancient City.

The Chongsheng Temple and the Three-Pagodas, 1.5 km (0.9 mi) away from the north of Dali Ancient City, lies beside Erhai Lake. On sunny days, reflections of the Three-pagodas appear on the lake nearby, contrasting with blue sky and white clouds.
 Considering the rainy season of Dali in June, an umbrella must be taken in case of sudden rainfall. Also, the UV rays are still intense, so please pack sunglasses, cap and sunscreen cream.
