A visit to local families selected by TravelChinaGuide can be arranged in your China tours while exploring the ancient city of Xi'an. This family visit program will answer the common question held by most tourists from other countries – How's the local people's daily life.

During the family visit, you will dine with your host. You may also learn how to make dumplings among the many delicacies. You are put in charge of the menu, and your tour guide will help you in placing your orders with your host's kitchen.

Your host will show you how to cook your favorite Chinese dish there and then. You may select Chinese recipes from our cooking class column for your adventure into local food experience.

Write Travel Review' Function Launched by TravelChinaGuide

The 'Share Your Travel Review' function is now available for both guests and registered members of TravelChinaGuide.com. Almost on every page of China City Guide, Attractions and several other columns, there is a 'Write Reviews' button near the main text. You can click the button to post your comments and travel pictures about your travel experience. Registered member can post a picture from their photo album on TravelChinaGuide.

Take Xi'an Travel Guide for example, 'Write Reviews' button under the title is now available along with three other buttons. On the left navigation bar, click 'Travel Reviews' and you will see the summary page of all reviews others shared here. Please share your travel reviews with millions of travelers all over the world! Get Started!

Edit' Function Available Now

TravelChinaGuide Conducting New Business – Train Ticket Booking Online

Besides direct China Flights Booking service, TravelChinaGuide now launches the direct China Train Tickets Booking system, which provides information of approximately all train journeys in mainland China and booking service for trains departing from over 30 major cities.

Users can search for the detailed information on all the trains point to point, passing through a hub or search by imputing a specific train number. The search result shows start and finish of the routes, time of departure and arrival time, travel time and ticket price as well. Anyone who wants to book a train ticket can click the 'Book It' button on the result page. Then confirm the train information by filling in the blanks with your contact information. Ticket delivery to your hotel (only within mainland China) is provided. Finally, submit the booking form and TravelChinaGuide will send you the reservation confirmation on real time.

Please note that we now provide on-line booking of trains starting from Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing and the provincial capitals. Service Charge applies on each order completed.

New Apartments Accommodation for Company Staff

The company has bought twelve pieces of real estate in Zhongtian International Apartment units in Xi'an as welfare staff quarters. These residences have access to a laundry, a grocery facility and a beauty parlor inside and a bank, a drugstore, a supermarket, a bakery, a fitness club and some nearby restaurants. They are within walking distance from the office.

In addition, eight rental apartments in Zhuque Garden and vicinity, all within walking distance from work, are used as dormitories. They are climate controlled and equipped with basic appliances.

On January 9, 2010, TravelChinaGuide happily held the 2009 annual dinner and the awarding ceremony to the outstanding working staff. The dinner began with a warm and inspiring speech by the general manager. He summed up the achievement the TCG had made in the previous year and shaped the future development. The next was the awarding ceremony to the working staff that made prominent achievement in their work last year. The model staff all felt a great honor to receive the certificates of commendation. The awarding ceremony lasted for almost half an hour which followed by a splendid dinner. The general manager and department managers toasted to everyone at table to express the best wishes for the coming new year. All the TCG working members enjoyed the dinner and were inspired to work harder for our distinguished guests in the next year.
