TravelChinaGuide arranged a training tour for the staff from the tour sales department.

They visited the most historic attractions of Xi'an which are top famous but in suburbs, including Qianling Mausoleum, Qianling Museum, Qianling Underground Palace, Hanyangling Mausoleum, Banpo Museum, Terra Cotta Warriors and Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

TraveChinaGuide Send Representatives to the 11th Huangshan Int’l Tourism Festival

TravelChinaGuide sent a small group to attend the 11th Huangshan Int’l Tourism Festival (Huizhou Culture Festival) during November 4-11, 2007.

The group took a train from Xi'an to Nanjing first before the formal visit to Huangshan began, including the Drum Tower, Confucius Temple, Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum and Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum. It only took 4 hours from Nanjing to Huangshan by bus. The tour of Huangshan covered Tunxi Old Street in the city center, close to the busiest business center; and the old residence of nearly 500 years which belonged to a great mathematician in the Ming Dynasty. On the way from Tunxi to Shexian Country, they visited the underground gallery of rock carvings - Huashan Mystery Caves, the famous complex of Tangyue Memorial Archways, Xidi and Hongcun old towns. Then they went to Yixian County and took bus to Tangkou, the south entrance to Yellow Mountain.

Their last few days were spent in Hangzhou, a 4 hour bus ride from Huangshan. Attractions included Six Harmonies Pagoda, Lingyin Temple and Fei Lai Feng (Peak Flown From Afar).

Attraction Expedition to Yunnan

The chief leaders of TravelChinaGuide’s tour sales department went on an expedition tour to Yunnan to experience the classic travel route of KunmingDaliLijiangShangri-la, the essence of Yunnan.

After arriving in Kunming, the expedition group went to Luoping Town, Qujing. Famous for the picturesque rape fields, Luoping is also where the Pearl River begins. The Duoyi River and Jiulong Waterfall were also included in the trip. After a Kunming city tour, they headed to Dali, visiting the most well-known attrctions there including the Dali Ancient City, the Butterfly Spring and the Three Pagodas. The trip to Lijiang covered the Old Town of Lijiang, Dongba Music and Dance performance, Naxi villages in Yuhu Lake and Former Residence of Dr. J. F. Rock who spent 27 years living in Yuhu Lake area to researchplant diversity amd the local people and their written language. Shangri-La in October is colorful and enchanting. Here the group visited the Songzanlin Monastery, the biggest Tibetan monastery in Yunnan and Gelupa (Yellow) sect center of the Tibetan area in Yunnan and Sichuan. Patatso National Park, the first national park in Mainland China, contains beautiful lakes and forests.
