Incentive Tour to Beijing

Published: November 12, 2010

A TravelChinaGuide staff award plan dispatched a delegation to Beijing on incentive tour. During the six days from November 6 – 11, the delegates visited major attractions in Beijing as well as some less well known scenic spots in their creative itinerary planning.

The staff began their first day of tours by heading for Yonghe Lamasery as well the imperial academy (Guozijian) and Confucius Temple nearby. Then they strolled along Beijing's streets and hutongs until Nanluogu Xiang. The next day, they saw Huguosi Snack Street, Prince Gong's Mansion, Shichahai, Beihai Park, Bell and Drum Tower.

They toured on the third day around Qianmen Street, Tiananmen Square, Chairman Mao's Memorial hall and the Forbidden City.  The next day they enjoyed Bianyifang Restaurant's yummy Beijing roast duck together with the Temple of Heaven grandeur. They also went night sightseeing to Beijing's fashionable CBD area, New CCTV Tower, Wangfujing and Chang'an Street.

On day five, They took bus 919 in early morning to Badaling Great Wall and cable car to help saving some time.  Then they went back to the city center with a transfer to Subway Line 4 to the Summer Palace. The last day's itinerary covers Beijing Zoo, Zhonguancun, Bird's Nest and Water Cube.

Six days are hardly enough for Beijing, but a good sample of what China has to offer. Please plan to visit Beijing ASAP. We'd almost guarantee you an enjoyable Beijing tour here.
