August is also a shoulder season of sightseeing in Japan, but it’s more popular than July without continuous rains. Beaches are full of tourists generally, while some people seek to enjoy a cool into the mountains and valleys. Bon-odori Festival in the early or middle of August brings this month to a climax of travelling in Japan, but at a relatively expensive cost.
