Japan Weather in June

Summer comes in Japan in June; the further south the place is, the earlier summer comes. Given this, the temperature rises somewhat averagely, up to 27℃ (80.6℉) around the country. As both muggy summer and rainy season come to Japan, June is not a high season of sightseeing throughout the country. However, it is the best month to see blooming hydrangeas, while museum visits are also recommended.
 Rainy days are suitable for indoor visits, thus, museums are popular in Japan during June. Tokyo National Museum, The National Museum of Western Art, National Museum of Nature and Science, Osaka Castle Museum and nearby Osaka museum of History, Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, Kyoto National Museum, Kyoto Railway Station, etc. are the best museums in Japan, with abundant collections and interesting activities.
 June is the month of hydrangeas in Japan, and you could enjoy the attractive flowers in varied colors on a good day. Bunkyo Ajisai Matsuri, the hydrangea festival, is fascinating every year at Hakusan Shrine, Bunkyo Ward, and Tokyo. The hydrangeas along Hakone Tozan Railway are also captivating.
