Hanoi Weather in November

Welcoming the cool season, the Hanoi weather in November changes a lot. A significant decrease can be felt in its temperature and humidity. The average temperature ranges from  18 to 27℃(64-81℉) and the humidity also falls down to 72%. At the same time, there is less rainfall this month and it only has about 6 rainy days and the total precipitation is around 42 mm. However, please note that the rainy days in November can be cold. 

In general, the milder weather and drier climate make it wonderful for visitors to explore the old city. Taking a walking tour to sightsee the colonial architecture and experience the blend of Vietnamese, French, and Chinese culture will be an unforgettable experience. Moreover, it is possible for travelers to enjoy some blooming flowers this month, like beautiful daisies and sunflowers.

 

In November, it is recommended to prepare more warm clothes which are suitable for autumn. Take your favorite jackets, hoodies, and thin sweaters. Sometimes a thin scarf may be needed on cold rainy days. Sneakers or a pair of comfortable hiking shoes are recommended for your Hanoi late autumn trip.

Visitors can take a seat there, enjoy a cup of coffee while seeing a train passing through the narrow alley. If you are interested in colonial architecture, St. Joseph’s Cathedral should not be missed. One Pillar Pagoda and Perfume Pagoda are the best places to experience local Buddhist culture. In November, cycling around Hoan Kiem Lake will also be a good chance to take in the serene autumn beauty.
