Taxi Types

There are official and unofficial taxis on the road of Ulaanbaatar. The official taxis are noticeably labelled on the exterior parts or inside the car, which is easy to identify. A taxi should be hired as the per-kilometre rate, which helps to get some idea of the route as well as the price. You cannot negotiate the price while hiring the official taxi.

♦ Use official taxis at night time to avoid any inconvenience and any unexpected problem.
