Community Management on Weekends & Holidays

From this weekend, TravelChinaGuide (abbr. TCG hereinafter) community moderators will extend their working time on both Saturday and Sunday as well as the future holidays to offer a further community management.
The TCG Community is an on-line meeting place shared by those who have passion for China, China Travel and Chinese culture. For years, many community members from various countries take TCG community as a good platform and come here for their communications, finding out all questions and answers about China.
The community now has almost 9,000 members from all over the world, who have different smart threads to deliver their posts, travel reviews, travel tips and comments actively on the forum. Continually, new members are joining in by amazing speed from day to day, which is the good telling witness of the growing and development of TCG.
Our community moderators, Christine and Siva, who have been serving for the forum and members chronically, are so pleased to communicate and make friends with so many forum members, hearing their different sounds, answering their questions and offering the timely help to them. Along with the community members increasing, from this week, Christine and Siva will have a further management and service for the TCG community not only on the weekdays (Their daily working time), but also on weekends and holidays in the future so as to make a regular order and guarantee the eunomy of the community and offer a much warmer, healthier communication platform to the members.
Members on weekends and holidays now can enjoy a better forum and even have a free contact with our community moderators, Christine and Siva are willing to help you for all time.
More members are expected and welcomed by TCG community and we are always looking forward to your passionate participation.
TravelChinaGuide Presents a New Column - A La Carte

A La Carte, a new column on TravelChinaGuide.com (abbr. TCG hereinafter), was presented several days before, which is especially opened for western visitors to know and enjoy the authentic Chinese food.
TCG is the first online travel agency to offer a la carte meals for its honorable clients, which has already been included in the customized itineraries. After two years' experience, investigation and development of the meal arrangement since 2004, 'a la carte' emerges on TravelChinaGuide.com as the times require. This fresh column is anther attractive highlights of TCG website, introducing the 'A La Carte' meals in detail.
Chinese Cuisine is primarily famous for Cantonese, Sichuan and Shanghai Cuisines. Cantonese food is the most refreshing, tender and clearest one that caters to westerners' tastes; Sichuan food is the most popular and delicious in China, while Shanghai food, also favored by most Chinese people, is the famed local flavor. If you are a vegetarian, then a la carte meals will be on your behoof to meet your special food demand for it gives you much freedom.

Expedition Tour to Guilin

In order to acquaint themselves with business development in Guilin, the general manager of TravelChinaGuide and the chief of the tour department went on a trip to the city. The purpose of their expedition included visits to Guilin’s most popular attractions, such as Elephant Trunk Hill, as well as Li River Cruise to Yangshuo, a virtual experience of bicycle/hiking, hotel facilities and the à la carte restaurants.

On Jan 6th, just a few days before Chinese New Year, TravelChinaGuide (abbr. TCG hereinafter) held the Evening party for celebrating the New Year at Yuehao Haihuang (A Cantonese Cuisine Restaurant in Xi'an).
All the staff of TCG including the office operators, tour guides, and drivers was presented. The banquet began with a grand feast and then followed by a wonderful performance, whose programs were all created and played by TCG staff members.
The restaurant was aboratively decorated by balloons, banners and other beautiful ornaments, which brought joyful ambience for TCG's evening party specially. We enjoyed comic dialogue, opusculum, songs and instrumental playing performed by ourselves and also played amused games. The performances were so excellent that all the TCG staff were greatly impassioned with their acclaim and applause.
Winners of the performances and attendees of the games all got the awards as New Year's gifts, which are also the thankfulness to all members of TCG group for their arduous efforts on work in the past year.
Each year, TCG will hold the celebrating activities for welcoming the New Year, but this is the first time for TCG to have the celebration by performances, which is of great help on harmonizing all members' friendly relationship and warm communication. That night is a happy night, leaving so deep impression and sweet memories for us, and we all will never forget it.
