Citizens of Congo are supposed to apply for a China visa in advance before their trip to China. Before submitting their visa application to the Embassy, they need to fill in the visa application form online and sign it, prepare all the supported materials required based on the visa types.
 1. Original passport with validity of more than 6 months and at least two blank visa pages, as well as one copy of the passport information page.
2. Completed and signed visa application form.
3. Photo. Applicants can submit photos online.
4. Legal residence certificate (applicable to those applying for visas outside their nationality country). Temporary visitors to the Republic of Congo should obtain visas to China in advance from their own countries.
5. Photocopy of previous Chinese passports or previous Chinese visas (applicable to citizens of the Republic of Congo those who were Chinese citizens and have obtained citizenship of the Republic of Congo).
 For applicants with an invitation letter:
1. Invitation letter issued by a company (travel agency, etc.) or individual within China.
2. Round-trip flight order;
3. Hotel reservation in China.
 
For applicants without an invitation letter:
1. Valid travel insurance certificate during stay in China;
2. Round-trip flight order;
3. Hotel reservation;
4. Financial proof (such as bank deposit, bank remittance receipt, etc.);
5. Travel itinerary in China.

Mr Orji, in addition of basic application materials (valid passport, application form with photo affixed), an invitation from an authorized Chinese unit will also be required.

Generally, you need to prepare the following documents for the  visa application.
1. An admission notice from a Chinese university
2. A JW 201 or JW 202 application form
3. Valid original passport
4. A health certificate from accredited Chinese hospitals
5. your educational certificates
