 Transportation to the Embassy:
The embassy is located in Sanlitun embassy areas. You can take a bus and get off at the Nongye Zhanlanguan stop (National Agricultural Exhibition Center); then walk westward along the Dong Si Jie, you can find the embassy. The buses routes include Bus No. 207, 402, 405, 420, 421, 627, 635, 671, 701, 707, 718, 801, 974, 984, Sunway Line 10, Te 3, Yuntong 107.

 Name: The Republic of the Congo, La République du Congo

 People: At the end of 2007, the Republic of the Congo has a population of about 4.2 million. There are fifty-six nations of varied scale.

 Language: French is the official language. Most people living in the south of the country speak Kongo and Monokutuba; while people in the north speak Lingala more frequently.

 Religion: Over half of the total population in the country embraces Primitive Religion, twenty-six percent of the people believe in Catholicism and the other people conform to Christianity or Islam.

 Geography: The country is located in the Midwest of the Africa and covers an area of 342,000 square kilometers (132,047 square miles).

 Capital: Brazzaville is the capital of the Republic of the Congo. At the end of 2007, the population of the capital reached 1.37 million. The average temperature of the city is about 26 centigrade (78.8 F).

 Important Festival: August 15 (Independency Day)

 Relationship with China: The diplomatic relation between the two countries was established on February 22, 1964. Since then, the two sides have maintained a smooth cooperation in fields such as politics and economics.
