The office only accept visa application from diplomatic or official passport holders. For ordinary passport holders, they need to go to the CVASC in Kinshasa.

1. Original passport with validity of more than 6 months.
2. Visa application form.
3. Photo.
4. Legal residence certificate (applicable to citizens of the third country).
5. Original Chinese passport or Chinese visa if any.
6. Invitation letter issued by a company (travel agency, etc.) or individual within China.
7. Round-trip flight order.
8. Hotel reservation in China.
9. Evidence of financial support.

1. Effective from Dec. 11, 2023 to Dec. 31, 2024.
2. The regular service takes 5 working days and the express service taking 4 working days is available at a cost of USD 25. The express service is free for citizens of Pakistan.
Status of Public Security of D.R. Congo and Suggestions
The public security order is poor. Stealing, swindle, armed robbery and murder often take place. Because the police system is incomplete, the rate of solved criminal cases is very low. Please avoid go out individually, especially in nights. Keep your passport, visa or other certificates in safe places. Take copy of passport and telephone number for an emergency with you. Please contact Embassy of Congo (Kinshasa) in China if Congolese are in problems there.
