 T-shirt, sweatshirt, shorts, light pants, cropped pants, dress, and more summer clothes are suitable in Cairo during July. Comfortable sandals or other thick-sole shoes are great, especially in desert area. Sunglasses and sunhat can’t be forgotten there.Recommendation Rate: 

In addition to majestic pyramids and ancient Egyptian civilization, Cairo is worth a visit for many old Islamic and Coptic remains. Al-Azhar Mosque is the oldest mosque in Africa, and it is superb to learn the simple early Islamic architectural style. Citadel of Saladin, a medieval castle against Crusaders, is also a splendid Islamic architecture. It allows visitors to get a panoramic view of Cairo on the terrace. Khan Al Khalili Bazaar is well-preserved with a lot of shops on sides; the old quarter seems to be a fairytale world especially the wonderful lamp alley. Coming to old Cairo, one can also go to the Hanging Church to learn the Coptic arts and constructing skills.
