Luoyang Weather in March

 

A sweater or a thick hoodie plus a wind coat or a lined overcoat and a pair of jeans are suitable for daytime travel. The temperature is low at night, so you should wear a cotton wadded jacket or a thin woolen coat when going out.It is a good time to have an outing to enjoy flowers. In early spring, peach flowers around Tuancheng Pavilion and Zhuying Tower in Luopu Park are in full bloom. Decorated by red, yellow and pink blossoms, these two Tang style architectures become more distinctive and charming.

You also can visit Qianwulonggou Village where apricot blossoms bloom luxuriantly. The whole village becomes a pinkish white wonderland. White and pink apricot blossoms set each other off beautifully, along with rape flowers occasionally appearing under the distant apricot trees, forming a gorgeous and attractive picture.

Jingzi Mountain Scenic Area is also a good option, where peach flowers on the north side are flourishing and the peach forest extends about 4 kilometers (2.5 miles). Standing on the viewing platform of the Tiantan Peak, the main peak of the mountain, you will have a panoramic view of the peach blossom fairyland.Because of the low precipitation, the climate in March in Luoyang is dry in March, so you need rehydtare your body after outdoor activities. The wind is strong in this month and occasionally there are sandstorms, so you’d better wear a mask during outdoor activities. You should take some thick clothes in case of temperature drop. If you have a pollen allergy, you should take anti-allergic medicine before going outside and keep distance with flowers.
