Luoyang Beijiao Airport

Location: Situated on Mt. Mangshan in Mangshan Town of Mengjin County, Luoyang Beijiao Airport is around 6 miles (10 kilometers) from the city center. It is about 80 miles (130 kilometers) away from Zhengzhou, the capital city of Henan Province.

Brief Intro: Luoyang Airport ranks the second in scale in Henan, following the Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport. Open to the public in 1987 and having witnessed improvement over decades of years, the passenger throughput of the airport has reached over 0.7 million. Over 20 air routes have been opened here, and the destinations include some large cities in China such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Kunming, and several international cities like Hong Kong and Bangkok. Currently, it has the Domestic Terminal and International Terminal. Luoyang is famous for the peony, so during its blooming season in April and May, the airport becomes very busy.

 Transportation to Zhengzhou:
Take a taxi or bus no. 83/K83 to the Main Railway Station from the airport. Then take an ordinary train to Zhengzhou within 1.5-2 hours. Or walk to the Long-distance Bus Station near the railway station to catch a direct bus to reach there. Alternatively, take a taxi to Longmen Railway Station where you can catch a bullet train to Zhengzhou East within 40 minutes.
