Ho Chi Minh City Weather in October

Ho Chi Minh City has fewer rainy days in October than in previous months as the rainy season is coming to an end. However, the total precipitation still keeps at a high level of 265 mm and there are about 21 rainy days. This month, the average temperature varies from 24 to 31℃(75-88℉) and the humidity keeps around 84%. Though the temperature is not very high, it feels a little hot between 11 and 15 o’clock. In the afternoon, it is possible to get wet due to its frequent sudden downpours. So taking an umbrella or a raincoat when sightseeing outdoors is very necessary for your October trip. 

 

The clothes to prepare for a Ho Chi Minh City trip in October should be airy and breathable clothes like shirts, light pants, dresses and a thin jacket or coat is required when sun goes down.
