China Visa Application

Nigerians holding ordinary passports need to obtain a visa to enter China Mainland but they enjoy a 14-day visa-free entry to Hong Kong, China. Nigerians holding diplomatic, official or service passports enjoy a 30-day visa-free to China Mainland.

Before submitting the visa application to the Embassy, applicants need to fill in the visa application form online first and then prepare the evidentary documents of different visa types.

Basic Requirements for Tourist Visa (L Type)
1. Passport with at least six months of remaining validity.
2. Visa Application Form and a recently-taken photo.
3. Certificate of legal stay or residence status (applicable to those not applying for the visa in their country of citizenship).
4. Photocopy of previous Chinese passports or previous Chinese visas (applicable to Nigerian citizens those who were Chinese citizens and have obtained Nigerian citizenship).
5. Materials about the itinerary in China including round-trip air ticket booking record, hotel reservation, etc. or an invitation letter issued by a relevant entity or individual in China.

 Notices for Chinese Going to Niger
1. Seven days are needed for applying a visa to Niger and flowing documents are necessary: valid Chinese passport, note or official letter with purpose and stay duration (or invitation letter), two copies of application form in English or French, two passport style pictures.  
  
2. Niger usually issue entry visa valid for three months (single entry). On-site Visa and transit one can be applied for in Niamey Airport.   

3. On-site visa is valid and available to stay for one month. It is not needed if not to stay less than 24 hours while passing through Niger. If more, a tranist one is needed to have allowing a stay of a month. When it is due, residence visa valid for one year can be obtained in local police offices.   

4. Aside from passport and visa, International Certificate of Vaccination is also requested to enter the country. Passengers should have round-trip ticket or deposit slip to show their ability to go back.
