Getting Around

Nowadays, Jinan metro line 1, line 2  and  line 3 put into service. Line 1 runs between Industrial Technology Research Institute and Fangte; Line 2 links Wangfuzhuang and Pengjiazhuang, covering around 36 kilometers (22 miles). Line 3 connects Longdong and Tantou. By the end of 2024, Jinan will totally operate five metro lines, also including Line 4, Line 6 and Line 9.
 

There are about 200 bus routes in Jinan. The ticket fare is CNY1. The bus numbers starting with a K charge CNY2, such as K51, etc. if you have an IC card, and then you can enjoy a 10% discount.

Additionally, at the Jiefang Bridge and Shandong Provincial Sports Center (Bus route: No.129), there are tour buses provided on Saturdays, Sundays and pubic holidays:

The above mentioned tour buses don't depart until the number of passengers reaches ten. And they will return at 15:30 on the same day.

Generally, taxis are easily accessible in the airport, near railway stations, outside hotels, restaurants & malls except during the rush hours around 07:00 – 09:00 and 17:00 – 19:00. Shuttling in the city by taxi can save much trouble and time. Ordinary and barrier-free taxis are available now, and the latter type is serving well the disabled and the seniors.
