Jinan East Railway Station

Jinan East Railway Station is located in the northeast part of the central city of Jinan, about 19 kilometers (12 miles) to Baotu Spring, 19 kilometers (12 miles) to Thousand-Buddha Mountain, 16 kilometers (10 miles) to Daming Lake, 20 kilometers (12 miles) to Jinan Railway Station, and 14 kilometers (9 miles) to Jinan International Airport.

Station Plan


The construction area of Jinan Railway Station is around 174,800 square meters (43 acres), including the South Square, south station building, central station building, north station building and North Square. The south part and the north part are connected by an underground passageway, thus, passengers transferring at this station can take a short cut cross the station. The layout of the railway station is showing below:

How to travel between Jinan East Train Station and downtown Jinan?

 By Bus: Passengers can see a BRT bus station at the west side of the South Square and a regular city bus station at the east side of the South Square.  The buses stop here include:

Shuttle Bus Line 1 to/from Jinan Railway Station;

Shuttle Bus Line 2 to/from Longao City Bus Hub;

Shuttle Bus Line 3 to/from Yaoqiang Airport;

BRT11 and BRT12;

City Bus K187, K188, K189;

Express Bus to/from Jinan West Railway Station.

 By Metro: Line 3 operates at the metro station on the B2 floor.

 By Taxi: It takes about 1 hour from the city center to the railway station by taxi with the costs of about CNY 70.

 By Long-Distance Coach: The long-distance coaches linking the railway station with the neighboring regions can be found at the long-distance coach station at the 2 sides of the North Square
 

Daming Lake Railway Station

Daming Lake Railway Station was called Jinan East Railway Station before June 1st, 2018. Passengers need to be careful not to mix it up with the current Jinan East Railway Station. Daming Lake Railway Station is located in the center of the city, next to the Daming Lake. It is the departure and terminal stations of the normal speed trains to/from Taiyuan, Shijiazhuang, Beijing, Qingdao, Harbin and Baotou, etc.
