Egyptian Food

Egyptian cuisine uses salt, black pepper, hot pepper, curry powder, cumin and lemon juice frequently, so the dishes are heavily seasoned. Egyptians usually use rice, soy beans, lamb, egg and fowl as the main ingredients for cooking. They eat fish, but they never eat pork. In Hong Kong, Habibi Restaurant is regarded as the only restaurant offering genuine Egyptian food.
