Shiliin Bogd Sacred Mountain

Sukhbaatar province was founded in 1941, formerly known as zaburangt Sharga Province. On April 20, 1943, in order to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Sukhbaatar's death, the name was changed to Sukhbaatar. Stroll around sukhbaatar, it is a small town, peaceful and tidy. The streets are empty and there are not many cars.

Sukhbaatar is one of the famous tourist destinations in Mongolia, especially for domestic travelers because of the Shiliin Bogd Sacred Mountain, only men are allowed to climb the mountain to the top due to its tradition.

Shiliin Bogd Sacred Mountain is 60 kilometers southeast of Daligangga county, with an altitude of 1,775 meters tall, it is one of the dead volcanoes here. Standing on the plain, the mountain is more than 400 meters above the nearby ground. No matter which direction you look from 60 kilometers away, this mountain stands like a blue tent on the plain. If visitors want to take a visit here, then hair a car in advance is necessary.
