Xi'an to Lijiang Train

There is no through train from Xi’an to Lijiang.

Passenger need a transfer in Kunming South Railway Station or Kunming Railway Station, then can travel from Xi’an to Lijiang by high speed train.

The total travel time on the train is around 14 hours and the total ticket cost is CNY 853.5.

The direct flight from Xi’an to Lijiang is also convenient to you with a flight time about 2.5 hours.

Since there is no train from Kunming to Lijiang the same day, you need to stay overnight in Kunming and then leave for Lijiang the next day. If you have enough time, you can also stay in Kunming for a few more days to enjoy the scenery here.  There are about three direct flights from Xi’an to Lijiang every day, which take about 2.5 hours for a single ride.
 Lijiang Old Town, Ganhaizi, Baishui River and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
 Some authentic Naxi cuisine, such as JidouLiangfen (a kind of jelly made from chick pea), Bingfenliangxiao (a tasty and refreshing dessert) and butter tea, are highly recommended.

 From Lijiang to Xi’an, you need to transfer in Kunming. There are 10 high speed trains from Lijiang to Kunming South with 3.5 hours. And 1 high speed train and 1 normal speed train from Kunming to Xi’an are available to you, taking about 11 hours and 22.5 hours away, respectively.
