The private sightseeing today starts with a visit to Elephant Hill Park. The glow of the morning sunrise and the setting of the sun in the evening are the most beautiful moments of the day. If it is a clear day, you will be overwhelmed by the breathtaking scene when the early morning rays of sunlight shine through the hole of Elephant Trunk Hill and fall on the bamboo rafts floating on the water. Next, you will visit the Reed Flute Cave, a beautiful cave featuring a spectacular limestone karst landscape with numerous stalagmites, stalactites, stelae, Shiman and stone flowers. There is no natural light in the cave, so it is not very easy to take nice pictures. Please remember that a flash is not needed when you take pictures. Then, move on to climb Fubo Hill where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city and take photos from the top. The first day's journey ends by visiting Laorenshan, a mountain that looks like a venerable old man facing the town and watching over this ancient 2000 year-old city day and night. A beautiful picture of the unique appearance of the mountain can be taken from a distance.

After having a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will set off to the Longji Rice Terraces to admire the picturesque scenery and stunning landscape. It is a heaven for photography enthusiasts. You will be transferred to No. 1 and No. 2 view spots for the superb view of the rice terraces. Great photos can be taken in any of the four seasons, but the best season is from May 25 to June 10 when the terraces are filled with water and local peasants are working in the fields. Photographic equipment, flashlight, rain gear, clothing and anti-mosquito lotion should be prepared in advance. Transfer back to Guilin afterwards. Tonight, we will accompany you on a walk around the central lakes area to appreciate the fascinating night views.

The morning transfer takes you to the pier where you will take a memorable cruise on the Li River. As your ship sails along the river, you will find yourself imagining that you are in a Chinese ink wash painting. Take your time to enjoy the picturesque views and make use of your camera to record these beautiful sights. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, you will be transferred to Xingping Village where you can go to the place that was chosen to appear as the background image on the Chinese 20 Yuan note. For another terrific photo opportunity, we recommend Laozhai Hill, which is another famous attraction in Xingping. You will have chance to view its appearance and take photos in a distance. At last, we will drive you to check in at the hotel in Yangshuo.

Tips: Since the simple Chinese box lunch served on the cruise today is less satisfactory, it is advisable that you have a hearty breakfast at the hotel in the morning.

Morning exploration today focuses on visits to Moon Hill, the Yulong River and Jiuxian Village. Moon Hill is a natural wonder which is suitable for photography in all four seasons, but spring is the best time with excellent blossoms. The hill got its name because there is a hole in the wall that looks like a moon hanging in the sky. Walking along the road, you will see the shape of the stone arch gradually changed from the first quarter moon, half-moon, and full moon to the last quarter. A variety of pictures can be taken from different angles. After lunch, we will take you to visit Snow Lion Hill where you can have a clear view of the Li River and the surrounding hills from the top. Finally, you will come to Gongnong Bridge, a beautiful place located 5.6 kilometers away from Yangshuo County. It is said that Gongnong Bridge is one of the most favorable spots for photographing the sunrise and sunset in the whole county. The stunning natural scenery along the Yulong River and the bamboo rafts together with the busy local people make an incredible landscape painting.

If your flight leaves late in the afternoon, you will be transferred to the Li River again after breakfast or you can visit Green Lotus Hill before heading to the airport. After that, our guide and driver will see you off. We are looking forward to serve you again in the future.
