Grand New Year Celebrations Held in Xi’an Giant Wild Goose Pagoda

On December 31, 2018, a fantastic celebration to welcome New Year had been held successfully on the North Square of the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. The large-scale performance was displayed on the background of the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and was comprised of five parts including the legend of the eminent monk, Xuanzang and the Silk Road's story. Through the high-tech devices, a wonderful performance had been showed, which also showed the unique charm of the ancient city. More interesting activities had been held in Tang Dynasty Ever-bright City and on the City Wall.

On the past New Year's Eve, a fantastic firework show was given in Victoria Harbor to celebrate the New Year and travelers from all over the world enjoyed the grand celebration and attended the count down together. Besides the Victoria Harbor, other popular places to celebrate festivals include Tsim Sha Tsui and Victoria Park.
