Current Hot Booking for Shanghai Flights and Disneyland Park
After the ticket price rise has been announced, many people brought forward their schedule for Shanghai Disneyland Park. The flights and tickets booking have increased by over 50%, especially for those during the 2018 New Year Holiday (Dec. 30, 2017 - Jan. 1, 2018) and Spring Festival (Feb. 15 - 21, 2018). Visitors wishing to travel during these periods had better book in advance.
Upcoming Toy Story Land - Probable Reason for Ticket Price Rise
The Toy Story Land, the 7th theme park in Shanghai Disney, will open in April 26, 2018. Large investment having been made and to be made in maintaining the new park is a probable reason for the ticket price rise.
Anyway, Disney has the tradition to raise prices occasionally. For instance, since December 15, 2017, Hong Kong Disneyland has increased its standard ticket price to HK$ 619 for visitors aged 12 to 64, HK$ 458 for those aged 3 to 11, and HK$ 100 for seniors aged over 65.
Ticket Price Comparison with Other Disney Resorts
Even though the rise in ticket price may frustrate visitors' enthusiasm toward Shanghai Disneyland Park, it holds a competitive position in price against other Disney resorts in the world. It can be clearly concluded from the chart that Shanghai Disneyland Park will still charge the least from visitors.
