China received 128 million inbound tourists in 2014, among them 55 million stayed overnight. The revenue from inbound visitors was USD56.9 billion. Although with a slight decrease compared with 2013, the total scale of revenue is still amazing!

According to China National Tourism Administration, the top 18 tourist source countries in 2014 are in order: South Korea, Japan, Russia, United States, Vietnam, Mongolia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, India, Germany, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Thailand, Indonesia, France, and Kazakhstan.

South Korea has ranked as the largest tourist source country of China tourism for many years. There are several reasons: it is relatively close to China; increasing investment and economic cooperation make China more famous among the common people in South Korea; compared with western countries, the economy of South Korea has developed steadily in recent years, and people have more extra money.
