Shigatse is the second largest city in Tibet and also one of the two transfer station for visitor to hitch into Ngari or further Nepal. Ngari is at the pinnacle area of Tibet Plateau housing the loftiest mightiest mountains, which is the most distinctive part of on that plateau, nearly cut off from outside world by snow from November to May.
