Pictures of Yongling Museum

Yongling Museum is situated in the northwest suburbs of Chengdu City.

Yongling Museum is based on Yongling Mausoleum, the tomb of Wang Jian, who was a general of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), and became the Emperor of the state of Former Shu in the Five Dynasties Period (907-960) after disintegration of the Tang Dynasty. The tomb was excavated in 1942 and many valuable artifacts were found. It is a valuable historical site to understand the culture of the Tang Dynasty.
