The Nine Dragon Screen was said to be the oldest, largest, highest and the most artistic one in China.

The well-preserved Nine Dragon Screen was built for the thirteenth son of Zhu Yuanzhang, the first Emperor of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Built more than 600 years ago, it is currently the oldest and largest glazed screen of China. Made up of 426 glazed bricks, it is 8 meters (about 26 feet) high, 2.02 meters (6.6 feet) thick and 45.5 meters (149 feet) long. Attraction Intro: Huayan Monastery & Nine Dragon Screen
