China is among the earliest countries to use coins. The Gallery of Chinese Coins, located on the fourth floor, has a collection of almost 7000 coins. The birth and development of coins and the exchanges of coins between China and foreign countries are on display. There are also coins from Middle Asia on the ancient Silk Road.
