Qianling Mausoleum Pictures

A sacred way lined by animal and human statues leading all the way to the tombs is Qianling's most impressive feature.

Qianling Mausoleum is the only tomb where two emperors were buried in Chinese history. It is shared tomb of the Tang Gaozong and his wife (Empress Wu Zetian) in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Being the only woman who has ruled China, Empress Wu Zetian herself is a legendary. The unusual charm is that she left a Blank Tablet with no inscription of her achievement in front of her tomb.
