Famen Temple: Underground Palace below Treasure Hall Pictures

The palace under the Treasures Hall is the place where Sharipu culture in Tang Dynasty is shown to the people. In Tang Dynasty, Esoteric Buddhism is very popular in China. Two major categories of Sharipus’ containers in Esoteric Buddhism style are shown to us, which stand for the highest level Esoteric Buddhism culture. All these containers are discovered in the underground palace. Besides, part of the original appearance of underground palace is also shown.
