Clay Sculptures of Fengxiang County Pictures

Painted Clay Sculpture is a kind of folk art in Fengxiang County of Shaanxi Province. The local Clay Sculpture derives from designs of ancient stone inscription, New-Year pictures, paper-cut and embroidery. It is characteristic of exaggerative designs and bright color. It mainly has three types of designs: clay figurines, clay toys with animal sculpture, hang decorations with sculptures of painted face, tiger head, ox head and lion head.
