Hohhot (34)
As the capital of Inner Mongolia and one of the noted cities beyond the Great Wall, Hohhot City is the political, economic and cultural center of this region. The earliest history of this city could be traced back to 400 years ago, that is during the reign of Emperor Shenzong of the Ming Dynasty.
Baotou (6)
Located in the south of the Inner Mongolia Plateau, Baotou City is where the Yellow River flowing through and the Yinshan Mountains traverses the city center. In ancient China, it was one of the birthplaces of the nomadic tribes in North China.
