Dragon Pavilion Pictures
Based on the hall, a Dragon Pavilion Park was built in Kaifeng
This site is not only a pavilion but a huge imperial palace complex built during the Song Dynasty (960-1279). The main hall, built on a thirteen-meter-high marble terrace, is the highlight of the complex. The hall got the name "Dragon Pavilion" from a famed carving of dragons playing with a pearl in front of the hall. The site in turn got its name from the hall. It is somewhat like Beijing's Forbidden City but on a smaller scale. Attraction Intro: Dragon Pavilion
