China Giant Panda Pictures
The giant pandas are native to west China, mainly living in mountain ranges in Sichuan, but also in the Shaanxi and Gansu provinces. They are mammals classified as Carnivora, but while they mostly eat bamboo and other food includes fruits, eggs and small animals. They are endanger species. According to the latest statistics, about 1,590 giant pandas are living in the world, among which 239 are living in China. They are regarded as Chinese "national treasure".
