China Great Wall Museum: Pictures of Defensive Function and Its System

This part mainly covers the military defensive systems of the Great Wall. Being a defensive architecture, different types of passes were built. Photos about the passes and beacon tower signal system are collected in the museum. Some kinds of weapons are also shown in the museum. Because the Walls were also used as a residence for soldiers when there were no wars, many production tools are displayed as supplements. Pottery figurines are also used to show the soldiers’ daily life.
