Shichahai Pictures
Located in the hinterland land of the west city proper of Beijing, Shichahai is opposite the back door of Beihai Park, consisting of the Front Sea, Back Sea and West Sea. It was once one tiny part of the Grand Canal in the Yuan Dynasty and used to be a business center later in Qing. Shi Cha referred to ten temples around it. There are many hutongs and former royal mansions and gardens. Taking rickshaw along the narrow water lane is an attractive way favored by visitors. Attraction Intro: Shichahai
