Eastern Qing Tombs Pictures

The Eastern Qing Tombs Site, to the east of Beijing, is the largest and most complete one of its kind in China. The designer chose this place against mountains as the tomb site to meet the criteria of feng shui. This necropolis is just against the southern foot of Mt. Changrui. All of the palaces constructed here are connected with each other in order and tightly, which represents the rulers' good wishes that the country would be governed by their posterities from generation to generation.
