Welcome to Xian! Our guide and driver will meet you at your self-booked hotel in the downtown area at the appointed time. Your Xian day tour itinerary starts with the Xian City Wall. You can walk or ride a bike rented by yourself to tour around the wall. Then our guide will lead you to visit the Forest of Stone Steles Museum with a collection of ancient stone tablets, epitaphs and stone carvings of all ages. After the visit, you will visit a local family home and taste authentic home-made food for lunch. Should you be interested in cooking, the host will teach you how to make Chinese home-cooked dishes.
Then we will continue our trip to the Shaanxi History Museum and learn more of the profound Chinese civilization, especially during Zhou (1046 - 256 BC), Qin (221 - 207 BC), Han (202 BC - 220 AD) and Tang (618 - 907) dynasties. Afterwards, follow our guide to tour the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, the earliest and largest square tower built of bricks during the Tang Dynasty. Your Xian city tour ends here, and you will be escorted back to your hotel. We hope that you have enjoyed your Xian city trip and we look forward to serving you again.

Tour Highlights
Xian City Wall
It was originally built during the Sui and Tang dynasties (581 - 907) to defend against enemies and was reinforced and extended in the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). You can overlook the whole of Xian City standing on the wall and the traditional layout and buildings in the inner city present a striking contrast with modern high-rise buildings on the outside.
What a joyful tour on the City Wall!
