Day 1 Arrival in Kashgar
When you arrive in Kashgar today, you will be warmly welcomed by the professional tour guide and driver at the airport, and then be accompanied to check into a very nice hotel. The rest of the day is left for you to have a good rest or to become familiar with the city a bit on your own.

Kashgar is an important town on the ancient Silk Road, located in the extreme west of China. It includes the old town and the new town. Most of the historical sites are in the old town. The best time to visit Kashgar is in August, September and October, when the climate is quite pleasant and various melons and fruits become ripe. So during the tour, you will not only enjoy the picturesque natural scenery, but also taste the fresh fruits.

Your Kashgar tour itinerary will start with a pleasant walk in the Old Town, where most of the buildings are in the Islamic and Uyghur styles and the streets are crisscrossed with a unified style. What's more, you will have a special home visit to a local Uyghur family in Kashgar Old Town and you will have lunch with them to enjoy some delicious authentic home-cooked food.

After lunch, your guide will accompany you to the Idkah Mosque, which is a landmark of Kashgar and where you can see many magnificent structures in the Islamic style. The next stop is the Abakh Khoja Tomb, a typical Islamic ancient architectural complex. Today's Kashgar tour itinerary will end as you get back to the hotel.

Day 3 Kashgar - Karakuri Lake - Kashgar
Karakuri Lake
After breakfast, you will be transferred through the Karakurum Highway to the Karakuri Lake, which is about 5 hours driving from Kashgar. You could have a big breakfast today and take some snacks with you. The Karakuri Lake is a "pearl" on the Pamir. The lake is surrounded by several mountains such as the snow-capped Mount Muztagata and the Kongur Tagh. In the calm days, the white silver peaks, green grasslands and lakeside herds can all be reflected in the lake, which is extremely beautiful. You can enjoy a pleasant trip around the lake and view the Muztagata Mountain from a distance. Do not miss the chance to take wonderful photos while enjoying the scenery. When finishing the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel in Kashgar.

Day 4 Departure from Kashgar
Kashgar Sunday Market
Today, your guide will accompany you to visit the famous local bazaar. If it happens to be on Sunday, you will be scheduled to a more unique livestock bazaar, where people take their livestock to trade. If not, you will also see a lively traditional market full of all kinds of products, which is equally interesting.

After that, you will be escorted to the airport for your departure flight. Your Xinjiang Kashgar tour ends here. Hope you have had a good time with us!
