Xi'an is famous for housing the world's eighth wonder, Terracotta Army. Your guided Xi'an group tour will start with this huge project. Thousands of pottery soldiers and chariots were buried with Emperor Qin Shi Huang (259 - 210 BC). The large military troops have been protecting the first emperor of China for over 2,200 years.

In order to let you taste authentic Xi'an dishes, we will arrange a home-cooked a la carte lunch at a local family. The lunch is valued CNY120 per person and is also included in our price. Also you can learn how to cook Chinese food for free.

Being the capital of the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) for around 300 years, Xi'an is endowed with many traces of that period. In the afternoon, we will arrange a stop to Xi'an Museum and Small Wild Goose Pagoda built at the time. Although the top of the pagoda has been destroyed because of several earthquakes and has not been repaired yet, it leaves the Small Wild Goose Pagoda an incomplete beauty.

At night, our guide will take you to Shaanxi Song and Dance Theater to enjoy splendid performances, which tell the stories of the Tang Dynasty and reproduce the luxury imperial life on stage. You will also be treated with dumpling dinner.

During our journey from 6th Dec to 18th Dec, I had taken a large number of Photographs that serve a good remembrance for our participating in this arrangements.

Kamla and I had wonderful time and we had good exposure to Chinese culture. I am amazed to see the remarkable progress on Industrial as well as Tourism Sectors and excellent fast forward move in China. Both India and China could be proud of these achievements. One day in very near future, both our Nations will be fore-runners amongst the developed Countries of the World. No doubt about it. I wish to record my sincere thanks with sense of gratitude to Travel China Guide and individually all the Travel Guides, specially Juliet, Ruth and LuLu all of whom did a remarkable job which was very professional and at the same time had human back-ground. All Guides without exception took extremely good care about my wife who had difficulties in walking. These feat of human behavior from Chinese people will be remembered for the rest of our lives.

While concluding, I wish that if our health permit, we would like to make yet another tour in coming time and visit other parts of China through Travel China Guide.

We have taken a group tour to Hong Kong, Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Shanghai. It was a very enjoyable trip, providing a great introduction to China. Our Beijing and Guilin guides were exceptionally good but I found the Shanghai leg to be a little disappointing. I felt our guide rushed us through all our activities in one day, leaving our final day a little vacant. But overall it was a fantastic trip and I would not hesitate to recommend Travel China Guide in future. I thank you again for your outstanding advice and co-operation. ... More
