Guangzhou to Lijiang Train

There is no direct train from Guangzhou to Lijiang in a short period. To travel between by high speed trains, one can have a transfer in Kunming South Railway Station or Kunming Railway Station. The total travel time is about 13 - 14 hours and the cost is CNY 665 - 670 for second class seats.

Taking a flight from Guangzhou to Lijiang directly is also a choice. The flight duration is about 2.5 - 3 hours.

 There are about four pairs of flights between Guangzhou and Lijiang every day.  It takes 2.5 to 3 hours to complete a single ride.
 If you want to have a stay in Kunming, you can take a flight from Guangzhou to Kunming. There are about 20 flights operating each day. Then you need to take an airport shuttle bus line 4 to Kunming South Railway Station directly and take high speed train to get to Lijiang.

 From Lijiang to Guangzhou, passengers need to transfer at Kunming from trains to Lijiang. There are 10 high speed trains from Lijiang to Kunming South, 13 Kunming South to Guangzhou high speed trains and 3 Kunming to Guangzhou high speed trains. The whole duration on the train is 11-12 hours.
