 From July 1, 2024 to December 31, 2025, New Zealand ordinary passport holders can travel to China without a visa and stay for up to 15 days.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato
 

1. Complete the visa application form on the official web of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, print it out and sign it. Also prepare other required documents for application.
2. Head to the consulate at the appointed time, pick up a number at the entrance of the main hall, and wait for your turn.
3. When you wait for your number, please see the instructions put up in the hall, check your application documents and put them in order.
4. When your number is called, please submit your application documents.
5. Get the pink PICK UP RECEIPT.

6. According to the date on PICK UP RECEIPT or announcement of the consular office, head to the Consulate. 
7. Pick up a number at the entrance of main hall, and wait for your number at the visa hall.
8. When your number is called, approach the Window 1 to give the pink PICK UP RECEIPT and make payment.
9. Sign up at the blank area of white PICK UP RECEIPT and return it to consulate employee.
10. Pick up your passport, get the exchange and receipt. 
11. Check visa stamped on your passport carefully and make inquiries if there is any mistake.
 

1. The consulate in Auckland doesn't accept cash, Company Cheque or Personal Cheque as means of payment. So please pay by Credit Card (visa card & master card only), EFTPOS, online banking transfer, AliPay and Wechat Pay.
2. The consulate in Auckland needs 4 working days to process the application. For emergencies, the express service taking 2-3 days is available at additional charge.
