How to Apply for a Visa

All nationals need to apply for a China visa if they want to enter China Mainlnd. They are requested to fill in the application form online, print it out and sign it. Then submit the application to the embassy in person.  Citizens of Micronesia enjoy a visa exemption to Hong Kong if they stay there for no more than 14 days.

Notice for Application by Mailing

1. All required documents for application should be provided. You'd better offer your telephone number and address, so that the consular official can contact you easily.
2. The self-addressed return envelope with the Mailing Label or Shipment Waybill filled and postage paid. All the payment should be in check or money order instead of cash.

Processing Time

The embassy regularly takes 4 working days to process the application. If you apply for the Express Service, you can pick it up on the 2nd or 3rd working day counted from the date of submission. Extra USD 25 are charged.
