 The general information:

The Republic of Zambia is a landlocked country in the Africa with an area of 750,000 square kilometers. Most of the lands are plateau. English is used as the official language, while the other 31 local languages coexist. The annually average temperature ranges from 18 degrees centigrade to 20 degrees centigrade. The temperature varies greatly in the morning and evening. 

It is rich in natural resources. Thus, mineral, agriculture and tourism are three leading industries of the country. Half of the population engages in farming. 80 percent of the foreign currency income is contributed by copper exports. Zambezi flows through most of its land, and then forms the renowned Victoria Fall on the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Each year a large quantity of tourists are drawn here to appreciate the beauty. There are also 19 wildlife parks at the national level.

 Visa information:
There are two types of visas in Zambia, business and tourist. Tourist visa is issued to applicants for the purpose of visits, sightseeing, investment, job seeking or education. The Immigration Bureau is mainly responsible for visa processing, while, applicants of most countries can apply from the embassy or consulate in their own countries directly. For Chinese citizens holding the ordinary passports, they need to get the approval from the Immigration Bureau before submitting application to their embassy in China.

 Dual nationality: Dual nationality is denied in Zambia. Any Zambian with the other nationalities will be exempt from the Zambian nationality after a certain period. Those who leave for 7 successive years without making registration in the embassy or declaring the will of keeping the nationality to the minister in the written form will be no longer considered as Zambian.
