Notices for Chinese citizens going to Sudan:
 Entry visa regulation::
1. The following documents are required:
A. Two copies of the valid passport
B. Two copies of the application form.
C. Two photos
D. Health Certificate (Officials included) 
F. Legalized Certificate from labor bureau (shows that you are allowed to work abroad)
F. Guarantee
G. Legalized profession certificate and graduation certificate.
(For non Chinese, they have to attach note from their Embassies accredited to Beijing.)

 Customs regulations:
Small number of personal articles such as clothes, cosmetics, cigarettes (2 packs), 25 cigars are exempt from customs duties. Some up-market electrical appliances like video-cameras are not included in the duty-exemption goods. All the people must undergo open-package inspection. Chinese citizens who hold diplomatic passports or service passports are exempt from open package inspection. 

 Medical conditions are poor. Malaria and yellow fever are common diseases.

 Public order:
Sudan has a relatively low crime rate. However, it is still advisable to bring your valuables such as passport and cash when going out.

 The infrastructure is backward. The road is crowded. Chinese citizens must be careful when driving out.  

 Travel:
Sudan enjoys rich tourist resources due to its vast land natural environment. It has many historical and natural sighting sites.

Erkwiet Summer Resort which lies in the highlands is hot tourist destination due to its moderate climatic conditions all the year round. Sudan also has many rich historical and cultural heritages. Ancient relics are still seen in many areas of the nothern parts of the country. These areas include: Al-Bejrawia, Al-Naqa', Al-Musawarat, Merawie, karima, Al-Berkal Mountain.

Tourists who head towards other parts of Sudan out of Khartoum must go to the Tourism Department of Sudan to apply for a travel permit in advance.
