Visa Exemption Notice
With effect from Monday 10 September 2007, all nationals and citizens of the People's Republic of China and the Special Administration Region of Hong Kong are exempted from obtaining visa prior to entry.
Visitors permit will be issued on arrival provided the following normal entry requirements are made available:
·Passport to be valid for four (4) months or beyond the intended period of stay
·Return/onward tickets; and
·Evidence of sufficient funds to sustain duration of stay
The maximum period allowable to stay under visitors permit is six (6) months. The issuance of visitor's permit is free except for the requests for extension within the maximum period of six (6) months where a fee of F$93.00 is charged.
Passport Applications & Renewals
Fiji Passport has a validity of ten years upon the original issuing date. All passport holders should take the responsibility to renew their passports 6 months before expiry or apply for a new passport in cases the passport has expired. The Immigration Office in Suva of Fiji will handle the applications for new passports.
The Embassy in Beijing or any other Fiji Missions abroad will not deal with the applications for new passports.
Applications along with other required original documents should be sent to the Immigration Office in Suva by courier to ensure a faster and safer delivery. The address is shown as below:
