 Policy of Nationality
Argentina is a typical immigration country, and its citizens are mainly descendants of Spain and Italy, so its policy of nationality is not as strict as other countries. Argentina recognizes dual nationality and has singed a dual nationality agreement with Spain, Italy, Philippines and other countries. All children born in Argentina can naturally gain the Argentine nationality.

 

 Information about Argentine Visa
Argentina signed Diplomatic/Service Visa Abolition Agreement with China; therefore, Chinese diplomatic or service passport holders can enter Argentina without a visa and stay there for not more than 30 days. But they make strict regulations for Chinese ordinary passport holders. They are required to prepare the following documents: valid passport, filled-in visa application form, one passport photo, round air ticket, certificate of economic status and invitation letter.

 

 Suggestions to Chinese Going to Argentina for Residence or Investing
According to the regulations of Argentine Immigration Office, Chinese citizens going for residence need apply for notarization and authentication. They are required to go to local notary public office or consular department of Ministry of Foreign Affaires of the People's Republic of China and Argentine embassy in China or Argentine consulate general in Shanghai to deal with Notarization and Authentication of Birth and No Record of Criminal Disposal.


Chinese citizens going for investing are asked to have the bank certificate for transferring fund to Argentina or certificate of financing source.
