 Weekend in Algeria
In terms of the Moslem custom, the weekend in Algeria usually starts from the afternoon of Wednesday. Practically, the weekend for government agencies is Thursday and Friday as well as for banks and post offices is Friday and Saturday. On Friday, all of the commercial departments are closed except for the retail stores.

 Security
Although the Terrorism in Algeria has been controlled by the government effectively at the end of last century, some terrorist still act in the remote area and commit a few of terrorism events. Therefore, it is also suggested that everyone should guarantee the personal safety at any time and do not go to the obscure areas or go out alone. In order to ensure the whole country's security, the policemen are distributed in every corner of each city, such as highways, hotels, restaurants and entertainment places.
